Testing & Assembly Services

PGI’s capabilities include comprehensive testing and assembly services to ensure components are verified for performance and meet your exact specifications. Available upon request, our testing and assembly services ensure that each part is reliable and ready for use in your applications.

Testing

PGI can provide comprehensive functional testing services to ensure that every component meets exact performance standards. Our engineers design and implement advanced testing procedures, utilizing specialized equipment to evaluate each part’s functionality, accuracy, and reliability.

Through rigorous verification, we identify and address potential issues before components reach your hands, reducing the risk of failures and ensuring consistent quality. With our precise testing approach, you can trust that every product will perform as expected in real-world applications.

Assembly

At PGI, we offer high-quality assembly solutions to deliver components that are ready for immediate integration into your systems. Our experienced technicians perform a variety of techniques to ensure each assembly is secure, accurate, and built to meet your exact specifications.

By optimizing the assembly process and providing packaging services, we help improve efficiency, reduce production time, and maintain high-quality standards.

Testing & Assembly Examples

Nozzle Assembly

This nozzle is a two-piece assembly. The nozzle is made from 17-4 PH stainless steel and swiss machined with a .012” ± .0005” orifice. After heat treat, the nozzle is pressed into the nut which is swiss machined from 303 stainless. After assembly, the part undergoes a performance test for leaks and straightness of shot.

Extended Needle Assembly

This piston and needle assembly requires tight straightness and runout tolerances for proper performance. The needle, made from 416 stainless steel, is Swiss machined, heat treated, centerless ground, CNC threaded, precision ground, and electropolished.

Needle Assembly

This industrial needle has multiple operations before being chrome plated and ground to final size. Afterwards, we swage the piston assembly on to the needle then package it in custom packaging.

Poppet Assembly

After swiss turning both parts of this poppet assembly, the two pieces are joined together using a high strength adhesive. This allows the smaller steel pin to be heat treated for strength while making the outer part from stainless steel for corrosion resistance. After assembly, both the stainless OD and steel tip are precision ground due to the tight length and finish requirements. The assembled part is less than ½” in length.
